Math Skillsets

Trigonometry

Trigonometry is a math skill that you can use to find the missing hypotenuse of a triangle.

Theta

The theta is a point that will be given to you defaultly. It is the point that determines the adjascent side, the hypotenuse, and the opposite.

The opposite side to the theta is believe it or not, the opposite side. The adjascent side is the side adjascent to the theta and the hypotenuse is a side that you have not filled in yet that is not opposite nor adjascent to the theta.

Different Types of Trigonometry

The simple and building blocks of trigonometry is cosign or cos for short. It is where you find the hypotenuse from the opposite side and the adjascent side.

This is where you square whatever number the opposite and adjascent side are equal to and then add the two together to equal the missing hypotenuse.

Sin

Sin is where you take the hypotenuse squared to the opposite squared and minus the opposite from the hypotenuse.

Tang

Tang is where you take the adjascent to the opposite and find the missing angle of the slant on the triangle. It is where you take the opposite over the adjascent then find whatever the decimal version of that fraction multiplied by the hypotenuse and then had the square root found which will be the angle of the slant.

For more on the subject of trig watch this video by the Bio Chem tutor. Here is the link to the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8VCHoSk5_o&list=PL0o_zxa4K1BVCB8iCVCGOES9pEF6byTMT

Just copy that link and then he will explain everything you could possibly want to know.

Finding the area of a circle

Finding the area of a circle is actually really easy, just square the radius then multiply by 3.14 and you are done.

Finding the circumference of a circle is harder though. multiply 3.14 or pi by 2 then multiply that by whatever the radius is.

Algebra

Algebra one step is simple. If the equation is 3 - x = 1 then just minus 3 from one. if the x is at the start however such as x + 47 = 50 then minus 47 from 50.

Two step algebra is a little bit harder. 3x + 90 = 120 is the equation for this one. Subtract 3 from both sides then simply divide the sum of 3x + 90 = 120 by 3.

I WILL UPDATE MATH MORE BUT FOR NOW IM WORKING ON ASTRONOMY

Astronomy is an interesting thing, starting out with the basics, the planets and their moons. The planets in order are mercury venus earth mars jupiter saturn uranus neptune with the largest being jupiter and the smallest being mars.

There are plenty of celestial events like the sun exploding in 4 billion years, meteor showers where meteors fall near earth then get decimated in its atmosphere and comets, neon blue rocks shooting across the sky, all are cool but in my opinion comets are the best. There are also things called nebulas, patches of cosmic dust and stars. There are so many cool things in space. There are hourglass nebulas and more. There are also space myths, like white holes in supposed alternate galaxies that repel. Stars explode usually after about 10 billion years if they are lucky. Our star in the center of our solar system will explode in 4 billion years after living for another 4. Space is awesome, with quesars and comets, asteroids and meteors, nebulas and globular and random start clusters and so much more. There are so many cool things to look a in space.

Quasars are active galactic nucleus which means that they are powered by a colossal blackhole in the center of a solar system and as matter falls into the black hole it heats up and shines brighter than entire galaxies. comets are small icy bodies that obit the sun. When they get close to the sun the heat causes theice to caporize causing a glowing coma and a visible tail. They come in dfferent types meaning some have short periods lke Halley's comet and others take centuries to loop around. The trappist - 1 solar system is a system about 40 lightyears away located inside the aquarius constellation. The star in the solar system is a red star. This system is so special because it has 7 likely habitable planets. 7. 4 more than the average. Micheal Phelps is that you? Anyway the planets are tidally locked most likely and have very thin atmospheres.
